I had the pleasure of working on a branding project for a plant-based restaurant called Root Lounge, located in Bristol. The project involved creating a logo that accurately represented the restaurant’s values and concept, while also appealing to its target audience. The resulting logo features a fork with roots, resembling a plant. This imagery effectively communicates the restaurant’s focus on plant-based cuisine and sustainability, while also adding a playful touch to the branding. The logo was designed with a clean and modern aesthetic in mind, making it easily recognizable and versatile across various media. As part of the branding project, I also created a menu that complements the logo. The menu features a close-up of a leaf that follows the same shape as the roots in the logo, with the fork incorporated in the design. This consistency in design elements helps to reinforce the restaurant’s brand identity, making it memorable and easily identifiable. Overall, the branding project for Root Lounge was a success, resulting in a visually appealing and cohesive brand identity.
